Throughout the year, the SMA organise and host a variety of exclusive events including artefact handling sessions, training days and behind-the-scenes access to museums. A list of recent events is available in the drop-down.
AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Society is held in early December and is followed by a wine reception and the launch of the Society’s latest monographs.
Conferences
Each year the Society holds a Postgraduate Colloquium, organised by our Student Representative, and an Annual Conference.

The Society for Medieval Archaeology’s annual Student Colloquium recently took place at the University of Leicester.
