In association with the University of Exeter History and Archaeology department, we are delighted to announce the call for papers for the Society for Medieval Archaeology’s 2022 Student Colloquium.The colloquium will take place over three days, including two days of conference and workshops, and a trip on the 16th. The keynote speaker and trip destination will be confirmed shortly. In order to ensure the event is accessible as possible this will also be a hybrid event. We welcome papers from students and early career researchers on any aspect of medieval archaeology from the 5th to 16th centuries. These should aim to be between 15 to 20 minutes and can focus on any region globally.We warmly encourage interdisciplinary and archaeology adjacent proposals. Talks will be grouped thematically, and we hope presenters will reflect on each others work.
