In order to ensure the event is accessible as possible this will also be a hybrid event. We welcome papers from students and early career researchers on any aspect of medieval archaeology from the 5th to 16th centuries. These should aim to be between 15 to 20 minutes and can focus on any region globally. We warmly encourage interdisciplinary and archaeology adjacent proposals. Talks will be grouped thematically, and we hope presenters will reflect on each others work.

We are also welcoming posters on any ongoing research, for instance the progress and goals of an ongoing PhD project. These should aim to be A1. Poster presenters will also be offered the opportunity to give a 3-minute introduction to the group.Abstracts should be between up to 200 words, and sent to Arthur Redmonds at the 3rd of October 2022. Please include a 100 – 150 word biography for inclusion in the programme and indicate if you hope to attend in person or online.  Any queries about the event are welcome, please use the same email address.
